August, 2021 I'm not sure how relevant this service is or was to begin with. I think it's a pretty random online background check service for casual use. They were obviously never as big as a site like Been Verified. After I search Reddit to check for mentions of this service, there didn't seem to be any results. When I searched Twitter to also see what people were saying, all tweets about it were ads, and the most recent one dates all the way back to 2018. The service might still work as well as it did when I reviewed it all the way back in 2012. A website called SiteJabber had mostly unfavorable reviews of Inteligator.

Before I finish this post, I'd like to point out that I noticed a site called Intelligator.org which is just an extra 'L' in the name. This does sound like something you could get sued for if you're offering the same kind of service, but maybe they found a workaround, assuming it's not affiliated with InteliGator in any way.

Where is a truly free reverse cell phone look up?

Before I answer this question, I need to know something else from you. Does a free trial qualify as "free"? With that, you would have to have your credit card number ready so that you can't re-use the trial over and over again. Cell phone numbers are currently not published in the USA, so data brokers have found a way to make money. They pull information from as many free sources as possible and put it into their own database, which is searchable by members only. It costs money to have such a site running, so it wouldn't make much sense for this kind of a website to be free. Watch this video to have an idea of what the results are for a reverse phone lookup.  You could speed up the playback of the video too, since it's pretty mildly helpful and not very interesting, if you even bother to watch it.
